Public Transportation from LAX to Long Beach Hotel?

What are the options for getting from LAX to a Long Beach hotel besides renting a car? Is there any public transportation or shuttle services? What are the costs? Thanks!!Public Transportation from LAX to Long Beach Hotel?
well it depends where your hotel is in Long beach

if its downtown Long beach

you have a few options using public transit

you can first board a Lax ';G: shuttle this bus will take to the Aviation

Green Line station here you buy a ticket for $1.25 (or get a day pass for $5)

then go up stair take the green line to the Wilmington/Imperial

Rosa park station walk downstairs find another Ticket vending machine

and pay another $1.25

(this is why the day pass comes in handy)

then take the Blue line to into Long beach

whats the address of the hotel ? (I can tell if you will need to take another bus or not

thats one option

another option is to take the Lax Shuttle ';C'; bus to the city bus center then board a metro 232 for direct service to long beach (this

bus route takes about a hour and 1/2 to get into Long beach

and it cost $1.25

3rd option is take supershuttle or prime time direct to your hotel

this will cost you about $20-30 dollars

From the arrival terminal, get on the ';G'; shuttle, which takes you to the Metro station. Take the Green line train to Imperial/Wilmington, and then the Blue line train to Long Beach.

I don't know exactly where your hotel is, but once you get off at LB you should be able to get a Long Beach transit bus.
There are different ground transportation from LAX that you can take aside form renting a car. There are hotel and airport shuttles, public buses, long distance vans, shared ride vans, etc. Click on the website link below for more detailed information.
