Which hotel is better? ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Hotel or Pacific Beach Hotel??

We will be going Early June 2008. We are a young couple but we are not into clubbing or bar scenes, we want to see all of the sights and beaches. Thanks for the help!Which hotel is better? ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Hotel or Pacific Beach Hotel??
Resort Quest Waikiki is the former Aston Waikiki. We have stayed there; rooms are clean and cute decor but rather small (no biggie as we spend our time OUTDOORS rather than in the room, anyway) and there is valet parking so expect to have to tip. Usually takes about 15 minutes for them to bring your vehicle up.

If you stay in the back building you do not get to partake in the free breakfast on the beach program (which was basically an insulated lunch kit, you grab what you want from the breakfast buffet and walk across the street to the beach.) Not familiar with Pacific Beach Hotel as we stayed at the other, but you might go to tripadvisor.com and read reviews.Which hotel is better? ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Hotel or Pacific Beach Hotel??
Pacific Beach Hotel was great. We used it for our honeymoon. Just across the street from beach and in the middle of a large retail area with plenty of shopping for the wife and lots of nice restaurants. AND the aquarium in the bar and restaurant of the hotel was a great topic of discussion as we sat at breakfast every morning. Ask for a beach view room though and they are more expensive than the regular rooms were!
My husband and I have been to waikiki 3 times...the last time we stayed at ResortQuest Waikiki Beach - we booked one of their junior suites. It was a sweet room...we really liked it - but we tend to be on the thrifty side and I have to say that it was expensive. Their prices are pretty steep - parking $20 a day, internet $13 a day, I agree with some that you're barely going to spend time in your room - so keep that in mind before you splurge.

Here are a few sites that I am almost certain will help you...I personally used them for my trips:

(for advise, info about things to do, and tons of pics...this site in particular saved us money by telling us where to find alternative parking)

(where we booked that hotel...it was a real bargain for what it really goes for!)

Good luck and have tons of fun! Aloha!
I was right next door to the Resort Quest and let me tell ya, that place looked like A LOT of fun. Constant parties. Every morning you get woken up by beautiful music, puts you in the perfect ';Hawaii mood';. they must have free breakfast because from my balcony you could see the buffet area by the pool jam packed by 8am. I'd actually consider staying there my next trip.
